Authentic Press and Barr Printing Join Forces

Two of Fort Worths leading printing companies, Authentic Press and Barr Printing announce that they have merged to form Authentic/ Barr Printing.

Fort Worth, TX January 13, 2005 -- Two of Fort Worths leading printing companies, Authentic Press and Barr Printing announced today that they have merged to form Authentic/ Barr Printing. The new company will bring significant synergies, providing enhanced services for customers and increased cost efficiencies.

We are tremendously excited about the capabilities this offers our clients, said Chris Groff, CEO of Authentic/Barr Printing. The two organizations really bring different strengths to the table and it is extraordinary how each complements the other. We have the technology and the experience to offer almost any printing solution, from the highest museum quality to short run business cards and letterhead.

The printing industry continues to evolve, adds Kenneth Barr, whose family started Barr Printing in 1948. Larger companies like our new entity have the resources to keep abreast of technology yet can still remain flexible enough to offer the service and attention to detail our customers expect.

A highly experienced management team will lead the new company. In addition to Chris Groff, Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Vere, becomes President. Kenneth Barr and Allan Barr will remain integrally involved with business development and marketing, while Ray Smith and Dwite Robinson assume day-to-day operational responsibilities. Authentic/Barr Printing will be centrally located in the space currently occupied by Authentic Press at 945 Foch Street in Fort Worth.
